Looks almost like a honey pot ant, because of the translucent abdomen... Probably a fire ant, though. Mean little wankers...

One of my friends fell into a fire ant hill as a kid and was attacked by the whole colony... She's terrified of ants now...especially fire ants--any ant that's colored red, really. I don't like ants, but I don't have a phobia of them, though I'm sure I would if I'd been attacked by an entire colony of fire ants. :dead:

looks like a dramatic ant, with his "hand above his head saying. . "Please spare me my life". . .but then again I have a active imagination.
